Freeware MIDI-file Format Converter

Most of our files come as Format 0 so all events are in one track. If you would prefer the file split up into it's individual instruments you can use this converter. Likewise if you have a format 1 file but would prefer it in format 0 so that your keyboard can read it from disk you can also use this utility. Any lyric information is left intact and you can also save MIDI-files in the popular .KAR format. The limitation is that the file name can have no more than 8 letters - so you may have to rename the file if you are using long file names.
